Hybrid Pharmacist (HIV/AIDS Specialist)

Location: Elkridge, MD
Hours: 8:30AM-5:00PM, M-F (3 in-office, 2 remote)

• While the 3 in-office days are pre-determined, there is some flexibility on remote work Monday-Thursday. All staff works from home on Fridays.

Pay: $60/hour+ (negotiable based on experience, within reason)

Contract Type: Long-Term, no end in sight

Environment Type: Professional office setting

JOB SUMMARY:

• Ensure high-cost claims are reviewed prior to adjudication
• Consult and make recommendations to Prescribers if and when necessary
• Must be 100% dedicated to the contract
• Support Call Center PA development and functionality

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience:
  • 3 years of experience in supporting formulary PA, benefits design, and clinical information
  • PRO and RETRO-DUR
  • Previous experience in data mining, analyzing and developing cost containment strategies (high utilizes etc.)
  • Previous experience in supporting Call Center PA Programs and development.
• Knowledge:
  • Clinical pharmacy and drug products information to support plan and benefit design
  • Specialized training in Pain Management medications.
• Licenses/Education:
  • PharmD
  • Active Pharmacist License in MD (or shall be acquired within 6 months)
