\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 4 ten-hour days with shift times of 0700-1730 or 0900-1930 (weekday call shift)
\n• Call requirements: 4-5 call shifts per 6-week schedule period with 30-minute call back time
\n• Weekday call shifts: 1930-0700, weekend call shifts: 0700-0700
\n• Direct intra-OR circulating experience and scrub experience preferred
\n• Experience must support orthopedic procedures (joints, spine, sports injury) and/or general surgery as priority
\n• Minimum 2 years of experience required
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA or ARC only)
\n• EPIC experience heavily preferred
\n• Travel experience required
\n• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract
\n• Expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays with no RTO between Christmas and New Years
\n• Weekend coverage as needed
\n• Call requirements mandatory
\n• Float to Surgical Center as needed
\n• Care for patients of all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
\n• Work in tobacco and fragrance-free facility
\n• 24 hours of orientation required
\n• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours to complete)
\n• Manager interview required
\n• No license hits accepted
Facility:
\nThis healthcare facility features a comprehensive surgical department with 8 operating rooms and 130 beds, serving a daily census of less than 110 patients with approximately 30 visits per day. The facility specializes in a wide range of surgical procedures including orthopedic, general surgery, gynecological, urological, and minimally invasive procedures. The organization maintains advanced surgical equipment including Da Vinci surgical systems and provides extensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
