Job Title: Talent Sourcer / Entry-Level Recruiter (Construction Focus)

Reports To: Recruiting Manager / Director of Capture
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Talent Sourcer / Entry-Level Recruiter to join our Capture Department. This role will play a key part in identifying and engaging top talent to support our growing construction operations. The individual will focus on sourcing candidates for critical roles such as Project Managers, Superintendents, Project Engineers , and other field and office positions.
This is an excellent entry point into recruiting for someone with strong research skills, relationship-building ability, and an interest in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand current and upcoming hiring needs within construction projects.
Proactively source and build candidate pipelines using job boards, LinkedIn, databases, networking, and industry events.
Screen resumes and conduct initial outreach to assess candidate interest and qualifications.
Maintain accurate and organized candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Support the scheduling of interviews and follow-up communications as needed.
Provide market insights and feedback on talent availability, compensation trends, and competitor activity in the construction sector.
Assist in building employer brand awareness by promoting company culture and career opportunities.
Collaborate with the team to continuously improve sourcing strategies and recruiting processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field; or equivalent experience.
1+ year of recruiting, sourcing, HR, or related experience preferred (internship or project-based experience considered).
Knowledge of or exposure to the construction industry strongly preferred.
Familiarity with roles such as Project Manager, Superintendent, and Project Engineer is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage both active and passive candidates.
Tech-savvy with experience using job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, and/or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Eagerness to learn and grow within the recruiting and talent acquisition field.
