We are looking for a skilled and motivated Small Engine Mechanic to help keep our fleet of golf carts, lawn mowers, and power equipment running smoothly. What You'll Do:
- Diagnose & Troubleshoot: Identify engine and electric motor issues using diagnostic tools and hands-on inspections
- Perform Repairs: Complete repairs and maintenance on gas and electric small engines, everything from oil changes to motor replacements
- Customer Communication: Explain repairs, provide estimates, and deliver great service with every interaction
- Rebuild & Reassemble: Put engines back together with precision and care, ensuring everything works like new
- Keep Accurate Records: Log repairs, parts used, test results, and other key data to keep our operations running smoothly
- Use the Right Tools: Leverage your experience with power tools, diagnostics, and repair manuals to do the job right
What You Bring to the Table:
- Mechanical Know-How: Strong understanding of small engines and electric motor repair (gas/electric engines)
- Tool Proficiency: You’re confident with a wide range of tools-hand, power, diagnostic, and computerized
- Problem Solver: You don’t just fix the issue-you find the cause and make sure it doesn’t come back
- Customer-Focused: You communicate clearly and professionally with customers about their equipment
- Self-Motivated: You manage your time well and take ownership of your work from start to finish
