Partnership Employment has partnered with an established growing organization in Houston to find a Senior Escrow Officer. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for stability, growth, and great benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stay current on laws, regulations, and underwriting procedures.
• Interpret lender instructions and contracts to apply correct title insurance rates and procedures.
• Maintain required licensing and complete continuing education (CE) and fraud prevention training.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge in:

Title issues (liens, judgments, probate, homestead rights)1.

Property taxes and assessments (HOA, MUD, PID, etc.)

Closing documentation and loan types (FHA, VA, ARM, etc.)

Entity documentation (Trusts, LLCs, Corporations)

Mobile notary processes

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, realtors, and internal teams.
• Review surveys and title commitments for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and review Closing Disclosures and HUD-1s per legal and procedural guidelines.
• Conduct closings and notarize documents in accordance with Texas regulations.
• Ensure all funding conditions are met and reconcile/disburse funds accurately.
• Support and guide escrow assistants and shippers as needed.
• Report complaints or issues to management within 24 hours.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of escrow experience.
• High school diploma required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional demeanor and ability to maintain discretion.
