Job Description

Salary: $104,650 - 189,175 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree with 6 years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• At least 7 years of experience in modern software development, including systems/applications analysis and design.
• A solid understanding and 7+ years of experience in modern software development, with the ability to design, build, deploy, and maintain applications.
• A minimum of 4 years of combined experience in SOA/Microservice architecture and RESTful web services.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.

Responsibilities:

• In this role, my responsibilities will include:
• Developing, designing, coding, and implementing next-generation deployment automation utilizing system/software engineering best practices and cutting-edge technologies such as the Spring Framework (Boot, Cloud, Security, Data), DevOps tools (Jenkins, Red Hat OpenShift, Docker, SonarQube, IBM UrbanCode Deploy), and Enterprise Integration methods (IBM Fuse, Apache Camel, Spring Boot Routes).
• Providing expert knowledge in areas such as Java application integration, Java enterprise services, service-oriented architectures (SOA), security, business process management/business rules processing, CI/CD pipeline, containerization, as well as user experience (UX) and accessibility standards.
• Troubleshooting and fixing application defects across all components, including front-end, business logic, middleware, and databases (PL/SQL and Data Modeling).
• Effectively communicating with management, customers, teams, or vendors using strong written and verbal skills appropriate for the audience level.
• Completing other duties as assigned.
