Security Officer, Northern Manhattan, NYC

$17.17/hr. (prevailing wage) + $7.38/hr. (Supplemental Benefits) = $24.55/hr. (for the first 40 hrs. per week)

(2) 7am x 3pm

(2) 3pm x 11pm

(2) 11pm- 7am

Are you passionate about ensuring safety and providing exceptional customer service? Join our Arrow team as a Security Officer and play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment for our clients and visitors while delivering top-notch service.

Responsibilities:

• Access Control
• Ensure a safe and secure work environment while providing exceptional customer service.
• Notify supervisors and on-site staff of all irregularities, suspicious activities, security breaches, and safety hazards.
• Conduct standardized incident reports promptly, professionally, and accurately.
• Take necessary action to remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area.
• Embody and actively promote company values while serving as a highly visible deterrent on-site.
• Fulfill various job-related assignments as required.
• Prepare and submit daily surveillance activity reports and document important occurrences.

Requirements:

• Valid NYS Guard License
• 8/16 hr. NYS Security Guard classes completed
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 + years' experience in security
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
