Regional Sales Manager (East) – Energy Markets

Location: Remote (Candidate must be based on the East Coast of the United States)

Our client, a global leader in engineered equipment solutions, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth across U.S. energy markets. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company with a strong reputation for innovation and technical excellence. The role will focus on developing and expanding direct sales with EPCs, OEMs, engineering firms, and key end users.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive order intake and margin growth within assigned territories and markets
• Develop and maintain relationships with EPCs, OEMs, engineering firms, and strategic customers
• Identify and pursue new customer opportunities and OEM partnerships
• Support and guide Inside Sales to ensure timely, accurate RFQ and quote responses
• Manage CRM pipeline and forecasting tools with precision and accuracy
• Negotiate contract terms in alignment with company standards
• Influence technical specifications to highlight product and solution advantages
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product development with market needs
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and technical conferences

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or a related technical field
• 5–7+ years of experience in technical sales, ideally with pumps or similar engineered equipment
• Demonstrated success selling into complex environments, especially EPCs and OEMs
• Strong background in specification development and competitive positioning
• Deep understanding of pump systems, process engineering, and auxiliary equipment
• Skilled in contract negotiation and margin management
• Proficiency in CRM systems and opportunity management
• Willingness to travel ~60% for business development and customer engagement
