About the role We are looking for a Recruiting Coordinator based in San Francisco to join the global Recruiting Operations team and manage all aspects of the interview process, with a focus on Executive Level candidates. This is a highly visible role as the face of Samsara’s hiring process, ensuring an exceptional experience for candidates and interviewers. You will collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, and executives to drive a seamless process from scheduling to offer. This is a hybrid position with 3 days per week in the San Francisco office and 2 days remote. Only candidates based in San Francisco will be considered. In this role you will Manage an effective coordination process for candidates and hiring managers to scale recruiting. Schedule interviews through our ATS and use additional tools for scheduling and operations. Compile interview packets, schedules, and gather feedback from interviewers in a timely manner. Arrange pre-screening and interview logistics between candidates, recruiters, and managers. Assist recruiters with tracking candidates through the hiring lifecycle, including posting jobs, maintaining candidate status in the ATS, and closing job posts. Assist in administering the employee referral system, partnering with payroll to ensure referrals receive awards. Support administrative and operational projects for the broader Recruiting Operations and Programs team. Champion and model Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally. Minimum requirements Based in San Francisco and willing to come into the office as needed on a hybrid model. At least 6 months of scheduling and calendar management experience. Experience as an HR Coordinator or Recruiting Coordinator. Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment. Administrative experience supporting managers or executives. English fluency for written and verbal communication with team members and candidates. Ideal candidate attributes Experience as an HR Coordinator or Recruiting Coordinator. Experience with ATS, ideally Greenhouse. Strong organizational skills and a knack for building efficient processes. Outstanding communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to embrace change with a positive attitude and comfort with ambiguity. Salary: The range of annual base pay for this position is $63,325 — $74,500 USD.
