Job Description

Our client, a global automaker, is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent organization skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a goal-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Kokomo, IN

Pay Range: $30 per hour + benefits

What's the Job?

• Manage small work teams in a fast-paced, high-volume, unionized manufacturing environment.
• Ensure the production plan is met and drive continuous improvement activities.
• Lead safety initiatives and enforce the use of mandated safety tools and procedures.
• Analyze quality KPIs and prioritize quality issues effectively.
• Participate and lead Kaizen project activities focused on Safety, Cost, Quality, and Throughput improvements.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required. (Bachelors degree in a technical field preferred)
• 2+ years of supervisory and manufacturing experience (high volume environment)
• Excellent organization, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
• Previous experience working in a union environment (preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and possess a valid driver's license.
