Job Summary Provide primary support to a unit\'s marketing efforts through development of communications materials and planning and conducting marketing related events. Marketing efforts are normally directed towards promoting attendance at unit sponsored events (e.g. workshops, symposium, course offerings, etc.) and other programs or services offered by the unit. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: unit faculty and staff, students, guests and event attendees, facilities staff and vendors. This position typically will advise and counsel: unit marketing management, students and event attendees. This position will supervise: NA. Responsibilities Prepare promotional materials to include writing and editing for print, website, newsletters, etc. Participate in event planning and preparation to include coordinating/making space reservations and other arrangements, assist in the registration process, materials production and distribution, etc. Maintain and update the unit\'s website content; or portion of site content, devoted to marketing efforts. Provide prompt and informed responses to customer inquiries. May provide direction and guidance to lower-level Marketing & Event Coordinators. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Educational Requirements Technical Diploma, Associate\'s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Other Required Qualifications Overnight travel required for project delivery; flexibility in on-site daily service delivery hours (due to client shift schedules, project requirements). Included are skills in communications, customer service delivery, website maintenance and the application of marketing concepts and practices. Use of office related computer applications is required.
