WCS Healthcare is actively seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist for an ongoing assignment at a renowned surgery center in Woodbury, NY. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a dynamic surgical team, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and operational efficiency.​

Job Function:

• Day Shift.


• 7am - 3:30pm.


• Maintain proper sterile field during surgical procedures.


• Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operation and document according to policy.


• Prepare patients for surgery as requested. Provide technical assistance to surgeons, OR nurses, or anesthesiologists as needed.


• Wash and sterilize equipment using proper sterilization techniques. Operate, adjust, and maintain equipment to ensure proper operation .


• Take inventory and order surgical supplies as needed.

Job Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as a certified Surgical Tech working in an OR setting is required.


• Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program.


• Hold Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).


• BLS preferred (American Heart Association).
