Direct message the job poster from Barnum Financial Group Human Capital Manager at Barnum Financial Group The Brokerage New Business Analyst (NBA) provides support to brokers with application submissions, underwriting, policy updates and placement. The NBA acts as a key liaison between the broker and underwriters to insure timely and accurate processing of insurance applications. The NBA role involves building relationships with brokers, advocating for their clients, and maintaining accurate records in our CRM. Duties and responsibilities Review and process applications for completeness and accuracy Submit applications to carriers and track progress throughout the underwriting process Schedule medical examinations for clients when necessary Enter client data into multiple systems to ensure information is timely and accurate Identify inefficiencies in the application/underwriting process and suggest improvements Educate brokers/clients about underwriting guidelines, processes and timelines Attend carrier and upline trainings on new processes and products Clearly communicate with brokers, outside vendors and clients Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree Strong analytical and organizational skills Easily adaptable to changes in processes and priorities Accountability / collaboration Customer-oriented and professional Accept and provide feedback for the betterment of the team Strong multi-tasker Experience with all product lines including Life, Disability, Long Term Care and Annuities is a plus Seniority level Seniority level Entry level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Administrative and Finance Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Barnum Financial Group by 2x Inferred from the description for this job Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Paid maternity leave Paid paternity leave Disability insurance Get notified when a new job is posted.
