Position Summary: Our Implementation Consultants play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful end to end implementation of the
ascend software for our customers. This role involves understanding client requirements, configuring the
software system to meet those needs, training end-users, and providing ongoing support throughout the
implementation process to ensure successful adoption and utilization. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in Salesforce, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to engage in multiple projects
simultaneously.
What You'll Do: ● Lead detailed functional requirement-gathering sessions and sprint meetings with stakeholders to
document functional specifications, ensuring alignment with customer business goals
● Develop solution design documents and estimate level of effort
● Configure and customize ascend and Salesforce client requirements and acceptance criteria
● Provide functional support data conversion and integration workstreams, ensuring the accuracy and
integrity of client data during the transition.
● Create Salesforce reports
● Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users, administrators and trainers to ensure effective
system use and adoption
● Lead ascend and Salesforce reporting overviews
● Complete ascend upgrades and perform regression testing
● Provide go-live support, troubleshooting issues, and delivering solutions to maintain client
satisfaction and system efficiency
● Some travel to conferences and customer sites may be required
What We're Looking For: ● Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
● 3+ years as a Salesforce Consultant
● Salesforce Administrator Certification
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with
customers at all levels.
● Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and resourceful approach to addressing customer
needs and challenges.
● Exceptional organizational and time management skills
● A highly driven and motivated individual that is comfortable working independently
● Advancement/Fundraising/Higher Education/Grateful Patient
program experience a plus
● Experience with third party applications like Blackthorn, Formstack, Conga a plus
