We provide secure, high-quality language solutions in more than 80 languages for USCIS and other federal agencies. We are seeking Hindi Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract. Hindi is a critical language for immigration and asylum proceedings, and interpreters must deliver services with precision, neutrality, and confidentiality. Responsibilities Provide real-time Hindi English telephonic interpretation for USCIS officers, applicants, and stakeholders. Interpret in immigration, legal, and administrative contexts with accuracy and cultural sensitivity. Maintain neutrality and adhere to USCIS/DHS confidentiality and compliance standards. Handle both scheduled and urgent OPI requests. Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and QA audits. Qualifications Native or near-native fluency in Hindi and English. 2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, government, or healthcare preferred). Familiarity with interpreter ethics and standards (NCIHC, ATA, RID). Strong verbal communication skills; ability to stay accurate under pressure. Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 clearance. Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay: $25–30/hour (rare-language premium may apply).
