Responsibilities Southridge Behavioral Hospital is a beautiful and new state-of-the-art facility. As a joint venture with the Trinity Health System and Universal Health Services, we will serve up to 96 adult and geriatric patients across four units as we continue to open in 2025 and into 2026. More information about Southridge can be found online at: Position Description: Under the general supervision of the Health Information Manager , the Health Information Coder assigns appropriate ICD-10 diagnostic and procedural codes; reviews medical records against pre-established criteria; abstracts data from coding and medical record reviews into appropriate databases . Thie role also supports department Health Information technical skills and duties, including managing release of information, record analysis and chart audits. Benefit Highlights:

CCA, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, RHIT Behavioral health coding experience preferred. Work experience in Health Information Management and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to navigate coding system(s) 3M Encoder and Hybrid Medical Record in an efficient and effective manner strongly preferred.
