We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman/Finisher to join our team of skilled construction professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and executing all aspects of concrete construction projects, including planning, supervision, and hands-on concrete finishing work. As a Concrete Foreman/Finisher, you will play a critical role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Pay is competitive and based on your experience and will be discussed during the interview.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise daily activities of the concrete crew, assigning tasks, and ensuring efficient and safe work practices.

• Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine concrete requirements and design specifications.

• Estimate material, labor, and equipment needs for each project, collaborating with project managers and contractors to ensure accurate project planning.

• Perform hands-on concrete finishing tasks, including placing, leveling, smoothing, and shaping concrete surfaces using various tools and techniques.

• Maintain a clean and organized work site, ensuring that all safety protocols and industry regulations are strictly followed.

• Communicate with clients, project managers, and other subcontractors to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues that may arise.

• Train and mentor crew members, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete construction, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.

• In-depth knowledge of concrete finishing techniques, including formwork, reinforcement, pouring, and finishing.

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other stakeholders.

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints.

• Experience operating various concrete finishing tools and equipment, including power trowels, edgers, and float blades.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and conditions.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
