Job Title: Cloud DevOps Engineer

Location: Hybrid (3 days remote), Toronto, Canada

Experience Required: 5+ Years

Role Summary: We are hiring for this role where the selected candidate will work on our client's project focused on cloud infrastructure and DevOps automation. You'll play a key role in building scalable, secure, and reliable environments to support high-performance engineering workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute DevOps projects involving CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure in Azure or AWS
• Create and manage infrastructure using tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and orchestration tools such as Jenkins
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support deployments and operations
• Maintain version control practices using Git and GitHub
• Monitor systems using tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, or ELK stack
• Support containerized environments using Docker
• Handle artifact/package management systems like Artifactory, NuGet, or Conan

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience with Azure or AWS
• Proficient in Python for automation and scripting
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code ( Terraform or Ansible )
• Experience with Jenkins or similar orchestration tools
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Dynatrace , Splunk , or ELK for monitoring/logging
• Hands-on with Docker and container orchestration tools
• Knowledge of package management tools like Artifactory , NuGet , or Conan

Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
