DO THE WORK YOU LOVE! Volusia County Schools is searching for qualified candidates to serve as Athletics Trainers at various high schools in our district.

Requirements:

• Degree in Athletic Training
• NATA (National Athletic Trainers Association) Certification
• Licensed to work with the Florida Department of Health

Job Duties:

• Ability to work with students, parents, teachers, coaches and school administration
• Organized with equipment and paperwork Broad understanding of medical practices to support student athletes on campus
• Documentation skills both on paper and in technology
• Ability to work with other athletic trainers at large events
• Ability to guide and direct student athletic trainers
• Build a student athletic trainer program Understand the requirement to teach classes on campus
• Duties require extended hours of work
