Assistant Project Manager

Assistant Project Manager- Electrical Construction

We are a local electrical contractor that is looking to bring aboard an Assistant Project Manager to assist with our current projects and upcoming projects. We are looking for someone with an electrical background and someone who is looking for a role with continued growth and vertical advancement. 

Position Overview
The Assistant Project Manager will support the project management team in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating tasks, managing resources, and ensuring that project goals are met on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Monitor project progress and report on status to senior management
• Help in managing project budgets and ensure financial performance
• Facilitate communication among project team members
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports and presentations
• Participate in site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• 1+  years of experience in project management or construction roles
• Familiarity with electric, design build, and commercial construction processes
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in project management software and tools

This is an onsite role in Morgan Hill, with periodic travel to job sites as needed. There is flexibility as needed, please apply to learn more!
