Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Analyze and interpret blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances of aerospace components.

· Set up Mill/Turn machines, must have Mazak, Fanuc, and Siemens CNC control. (Integrex, WFL), and operate various CNC Mills (3-5 axis)

· Perform FA inspections with mechanical inspection tools. Make necessary adjustments to set up or NC code.

· Optimize programs for production.

· Complete inspection reports as required.

· Report any defects found and document critical quality information as necessary.

· Perform preventative maintenance and ensure machines are operating optimally.

· Work with programmers to optimize set-up and fixturing.

· Document tool and machine set up after FA approval.

· Communicate with managers, production control, engineering, quality and other shop personnel for assignments

and to support and resolve issues.

· Act as subject matter expert and train co-workers as requested.

· Maintain a neat and orderly work area complying with all 5S initiatives.

· Advise Production Supervisor of any maintenance problems that may need to be resolved.

· Follow and comply with all safety and personal protective equipment requirements.

· Document and time track through our ERP system as necessary.
